About This Game The Wild Age is a micromanagement strategy game with tower defense gameplay mechanics. The game is designed mainly for a peaceful and relaxed gaming experience that offers a break from the busy realities of life.In the game, you take on the role of the new ruler, who is tasked with creating a new, fully independent settlement on several islands.It is necessary to hire villagers and fulfill the main task for each island. However, it will not be easy, as every night enemy goblins attack your settlement, thus hindering your efforts. As a ruler, you can only give orders using a single raw currency in the game (coins). Its very simple but it just feels so lacking. For example, i couldn't remember something simple like info about meadows and how certain things affect animals coming. So half way through the second game i was confused. Forget wtf i was supposed to be doing. Ended up dying and feeling frustrated as there's no in game info you can bring up to refresh yourself. It feels clunky when my horse wont eat. Even though im clicking it to eat -_- The way the info on things comes up feels slow and a pain in the butt. You have to be literally sitting still on the building for like 5 seconds for its info to pop up.It is so freaking boring when your playing blind. (It hand holds you for the first 5 minutes then dumps you and your like wtf?) It would be so much better if in the first levels each time a new building or ''thing'' happens then it gives you a little cinematic or run down of what this is, what it means or does for you. I got this thinking it would have been bumped up a little in the aspects i mentioned but it hasn't. Its the same.If you want to keep it simple it needs to at least grip you or tell you what does what so you can enjoy it xD. Does exactly what it says on the tin.. I have done all 8 islands in the main campaign, but only on easy difficulty :) But I really enjoy it.I love the mounts and all the animals in the game :)My goal is a bunny 🐰 - although it is a little strange :DAt the moment I'm starting to test play retry a whole campaign on normal difficulty from the beginning. I'm already sweating a bit with this difficulty (I'm a little bit casual player ), but it's a challenge!After the first two islands, one does not quite understand game mechanics (i never play kingdom game - don't like 2d pixel game) - how to get more coins you must cut down many trees and spread the meadow, get farms, etc.It's a really fun gradually finding during playing this game how the game mechanics work - it's fun.If you like animals, strategies, and games that you have to think a bit, I strongly recommend. At EA, I would say the game was almost finished and without major mistakes.9/10 :).I love it ❤!. This game is basically a 3d rip off of the Kingdom games (Kingdom: Two Crowns, Kingdom: New Lands, and Kingdom: Classic). If you want a game like this put your money to those games instead of this wannabe. Needs some more work, but looks cool for early access title. Hope development goes well!. Fun game. It's got a few features that I like in comparison to Kingdoms; graphics, being able to cancel and destroy buildings. A more detailed user interface and a bit more detailed character customization. Hopefully the devs add more content/refinement before they move on to other projects. Please support this nifty little gem.. There's no consistency in the game. The amount of coins you get from farmers is wildly inconsistent even accounting for the bonus or lack there of. It doesn't seem to matter whether you have 1 or 3 farmers, it still wildly fluctuates. Your archers, half go one way and half go the other and instead of going 1 area further to all the wildlife they instead switch sides with each other to cover the same areas, often leaving animals alone which makes it quite difficult to get steady income as the tool tip recommends.You can't get any of the upgraded stuff without getting 14 coins to get the stone thing and I have repeatedly had trouble getting to it as the money return from my hunters and farmers is so poor. You get a "blood moon" attack on day 6 which is when you are first starting to get enough money to think about getting the stone thing but instead all your archers die so you have to spend all your money replacing them.They all shout retreat when the wall is about to break but they don't retreat they just stay there and die despite having walls to fall back to requiring expensive replacements.. Simple concept, but nice execution. It's hard to accomplish targets.
